Welcome to the new home of TeX on Mac OS X! This site was started in July 2008 as a replacement to the original TeX on Mac OS X. Please excuse our mess while we bring you a new and improved resource. We look forward to your assistance in improving the content and accuracy of the information provided. Registration Unfortunately, due to persistent massive spam registration is disabled. If you want to create an account please send email to vivrii@gmail.com and indicate your name, affiliation, desired user name and email address. Your helpful TeX on Mac wiki depends on you to support it by adding your valuable information! |
Starting Points should help most users find what they need quickly whether they are looking for information about TeX or interested in contributing to the wiki. One alternative - and the best starting point if you have a very specific query or cannot figure out which description fits best - is to Search. Another possibility - recommended for those interested in the structure of the wiki or familiar with key TeX terms - is to start by browsing the Categories.
Anybody interested in TeX should also be aware of the mailing lists available. These cover a wide variety of topics and are aimed at everybody from complete beginners to experts. If you are ever stuck and don't have a local TeX guru to hand - or you are the local TeX guru - these may be a good place to seek help. They can also be great places to pick up the sorts of tips which solve problems you didn't even know you had.
