We run a number of mailing lists. Others we don't but you still may be interested. Please refer to their respective pages for descriptions, etc.

TeX lists

The mailing lists in this section are TeX-centric.

General TeX lists

  • TeX on Mac OS X mailing list: the primary mailing list for users of TeX on MacOS X. It is a catch-all mailing list with a large number of helpful users and software developers; the best place to ask MacTeX-specific questions;
  • General TeX mailing list: Not specific to Mac or OS X. The best places to ask TeXnical rather than Mac-specific questions: "How I can do this in TeX?"
  • pdftex mailing list: Not specific to Mac or OS X. One of the best places to to ask questions related to TeX and pdf
  • TeX Live mailing list: development and testing of TeX Live. Not specific to Mac or OS X, but covers many concerns relevant to users of MacTeX and other TeX Live distributions.

Newsgroups

  • comp.tex.tex: the major TeX newsgroup. Sometimes subject to significant amounts of spam.
